Scaling the Dizzy Heights
I recently took a fellow interior designer friend around the site and under Jon's supervision, we scaled the scaffolding and walked around the property, looking down into the rooms. Both internal and external walls are going up fast now. By the time we get back from our summer holiday, no doubt we'll see a huge difference. The first floor will be in!
I’m Denise and I’m an interior designer. Building the dream home is therefore especially close to my heart (and extremely important I get right, so that I can show future clients what I can do for them!). I’m married, with a son, and we have a somewhat demented terrier. Our home, an Edwardian house in Berkshire, suffered a burst water pipe a little over a year ago, while we were away on holiday, resulting in significant damage to the property. As a result, we decided to build from scratch and to fund this, have sold the bottom half of our garden to a builder, Stephen Osborne, of Osborne Developments, who will be building a property to sell on his half and who, for the cost of the land, will build us our new house on the other half.
